Lactobionic acid: A polyhydroxy acid (PHA). This naturally occurring, low-irritating acid enhances exfoliation of the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of the skin) without side effects. Shows strong hydrating properties; by binding atmospheric water, lactobionic acid forms a natural gel film that gives hydration, plumpness and smoothness to the skin. Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate: A salt of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). Brightens skin, promotes collagen production and acts as an excellent antioxidant.
